Our (dream) Honeymoon

Which woman doesn't want to go honeymoon with her beloved one? Go shopping without fear of  money will run out. Have enough money to go to salon or can buy easily our dream gadget. Which woman doesn't like a gift? Let's say money is not everything, but money can bring us to shopping in Paris. What kind of sadness can be felt when your money can bring you to shop-till-drop in Paris! Or to another country. Taste the culinary, take pictures and upload them via social media. What kind of sadness when people are jealous and want to also look like us? Yeah, I was probably trying to be grateful. Accept the fact that I was not like them. They could go honeymoon or stay at luxury hotels. Married with Ahmad Jumadil took me to this place, Sarolangun. We have money for sure, all just enough to our daily needs and eat everyday.

But I realize that what we want is not always good. What looks from the outside is not always true. I enjoy the feeling of sadness when I had to hold back some desires which are not too important. All of this fact here teach me how to be patience. 

Dear husband, my happiness may not be owned by many people. I enjoyed the way you gave me space to be angry, then be willing to persuade me slowly. I enjoyed to see you were cooking, washing dishes or washing clothes when I was sick. You don't mind taking your food by yourself when I was tired. We love each other, without having to deny that we also have to face many problems here. In Sarolangun, life away from family and the city. I enjoyed the way we save money or waiting for 1st date of each month. I enjoyed our struggle to save money to buy a variety of purposes, pay rent or other important things. My husband, my heaven and my happiness here. We may take a long time to save money to go on our dream honeymoon, but we didn't take long time to feel the real honeymoon here, the real happiness. When we still have time for a warm hug, praying, healthy and laugh together. I love you.

My Life After Married

Simple. i love all that simple. Decision to marry at the age of 23 is also a simple decision. After married to Ahmad Jumadil, a man that i love, life is different now. When single, i was like spending time outdoors. Teaching, a part-time journalist, broadcast and college-life together. But it all changed slowly since the January 13, 2013. Slowly but surely, i began to reduce the hectic schedule. Perhaps, it has come a time when all will change. Especially after knowing the first two months of pregnancy after four months of marriage. I chose to move to the area where husband work: Sarolangun! Lucky me, my study has been completed. I still have a chance to teach here and being a teacher at MAN 1 Sarolangun.

But now there is no longer broadcast-world, rush-hour assignment or search for news as i did when i was a journalist. Everyday, i wake up  at five, cooking for breakfast and packed lunches husband, then go teach, come home around 2 pm. Sometimes i use my-afternoon to cleaning the house and other work. Is like a  heaven when i was looking at husband's cute smile and my round belly. Feels impatient expecting my first child. 
 
Probably, i still have sooo many dreams. But being a wife and mother is the dream of many single in this world. I am grateful, very grateful with what i have now.

Hi! It's been a long time did’nt write in this blog. It was June, Delon and I followed the process of selecting a new ambassador language. Yes, we must strengthen our hearts to have “An Ending Story” as Ambassador Language of Jambi Province ​​2012. It's definitely sad, but regeneration should still be running. I'm not too much involved in the selection process. This is due to the my conditions of round belly! (my pregnancy anyway) and some other activities.

 I took time to come at the peak of the grandfinal to give “Samir Duta Bahasa" to the new ambassador selected. From Delon, I know that this year's test was more difficult than in previous years. Participants are also more and more. They were spending almost 3-4 days to pass the tests. Tests were about UKBI, foreign language, talent, FGD, outbound, personality and etc (i forget it anyway)

 In fact, there are some participants who did’nt qualify last year were trying their luck again this year. I also shared some story at grandfinal to describe my experience at the audition last year and my own experience of being an ambassador of the language for a year (And also experience at the national level)
After following a series of tests, then elected Duta Bahasa 2013 that also will represent the province at national level. Congrats! Hopefully they're lucky.

My 1st time @Sarolangun

Pleased to have the opportunity to go to Sarolangun two days. Yes, I decided to go there to see my husband who work in that place. Not many places to take a walk indeed. But the opportunity for us available more there. Haha... and you know, I was able to cook!

The Wedding Day, January 13, 2013.

I was very happy that day. After last night could not sleep enough, I was excited in the morning. Feelings pounding and did not suspect all in sight. Yes, that's him. Prince came and let me love him in the right way.

 Morning, I was wearing a pink kebaya. Ceremony was held at the mosque of Al-Mabrur. The event was so solemn. I say hamdalah smoothly when a young man named Ahmad Jumadil told his sacred promise. Witnesses said "SAH"

 

 

 

Afterwards, the wedding celebration held at Gedung Arafah Asrama Haji. We were both dressed in black which is customary of Minang. I saw myself in the mirror and feel insecure. I've been a bride! Feeling happy to see the invited guests were crowded. The building is very full at the time. Happy to see my friends came to greet and pray for us. Thank youuuu!

 

 In the afternoon, we changed clothes to Java-modern costume. The costume was pink! So also with him. Another part that I like is we sang together. The event finished at 5 pm and we were exhausted but incredibly satisfied!

Okay! Officially become a wife now. Welcome to my-messy-and-confusing-and-complicated-world, Ahmad Jumadil!

Pertemuan Penyair Nusantara

A few days ago, as an ambassador for the language, Delon and I had the opportunity to attend the event named Pertemuan Penyair Nusantara. The show is great and provides a lot. We met several delegations from Asia and welcomes guests with the Jambi governor. Lucky, right? Let the photos tell the story ;)
